Stansbury Crest Trail offers views of Skull Valley, Tooele Valley, Rush Valley, and the Great Salt Lake. This route has been maintained as a primitive trail. This moderately difficult 10 mile trail gains 3,911 feet in elevation and receives moderate use. It takes about 7 hours to complete this trail one way.

Best Time To Visit: Late spring, summer, and fall is the best time to visit Stansbury Crest Trail.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Bikes and motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Directions: To reach Stansbury Crest Trail from Salt Lake City, head west on I-80 and exit at the Stansbury-Tooele exit. Follow the signs to Grantsville. From Grantsville head south on Cooley Street for about 4 miles to North Willow Canyon Road. Follow North Willow Canyon Road for about 7 miles. The trail begins about 0.1 mile from the end of the road on the north side of the road.
