Directions: To reach Spectacle Reservoir from Escalante, take Highway 12 north to Highway 24. Then turn west onto Forest Service Road 154 and travel south for approximately 3 miles. Turn southeast on to Forest Service road 1781 and travel for approximately 15 miles. Turn southwest on to Forest Service road 1277 (4-wheel drive only) and travel south to Spectacle Lake. Four wheel drive, high clearance vehicles are required. |
