Silver Fork Trail crosses some private land. Please respect private property; do not trespass. The trail takes you to a lower mine. For your own safety, the State of Utah recommends that you do not enter any mine. About 3 miles from the trailhead is an upper bowl. At this point the elevation change is 1,500 feet. If you continue on about another mile, you will reach the junction with Grizzly Gulch (total elevation change of 1,940 feet).
This moderately difficult 2.25 mile trail gains 420 feet in elevation and receives moderate use. It takes about 1.5 hours to complete the trail one way.
