The headwaters and upper portions of the Santa Clara River are located on the Pine Valley Ranger District. From the Forest Service Boundary, the Santa Clara River flows south into Baker Dam Reservoir, Gunlock Reservoir, and finally into the Virgin River.

Facilities: There are three campgrounds all located within .5 mile from portions of the Santa Clara River. They include, Blue Springs Campground, Juniper Park Campground, and Pines Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Santa Clara River.

Best Time To Visit: Santa Clara River is open year round.

Fees: Unknown

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Check local fishing regulations.

Directions: To reach Santa Clara River from the city of St. George, take Highway 18 north past Veyo and to the town of Central (approximately 23 miles). From Central, take Forest Service Road 035 east. The road parallels the river to its headwaters near Pine Valley Reservoir.
