Mount Aire Trail runs from the saddle between Elbow Fork in Mill Creek Canyon and Mount Aire Canyon in Parleys Canyon. It is a steep trail, but provides views of the surrounding areas. This moderately difficult 1.8 mile trail gains 1,821 feet in elevation and receives frequent use. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to complete the trail one way.
It is not uncommon to see snakes on this trail. During the spring and fall, snakes tend to be out during the daytime when the sun is out. During the heat of summer, snakes hang out in the mornings and evenings when it's cooler. Snakes are easy to avoid if visitors are cautious and watch for them.
