Mill D North Fork Trail

Mill D North Fork Trail follows a small intermittent stream that flows for much of the year. The trail can be used for snow shoeing or cross country skiing during the winter. The trail gains access to the Desolation Trail and can be used to cross over to Mill Creek Canyon.

Facilities: Spruces Campground is located near Mill D North Fork Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Mill D North Fork Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Summer and fall is the best time to visit Mill D North Fork Trail.

Fees: No fees are charged to visit this trail.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Horses and motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Directions: To reach Mill D North Fork Trail from Salt Lake City, take Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd) about 9.5 miles up the canyon to the Mill D North Fork Trailhead about 0.2 mile before Spruces Campground. Trailhead sign marks the beginning on the north side of the road.
