Mill Creek Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk

The fishing dock is located on the south side of the road. The first parking area is just past the fishing dock. A vault toilet is located near the parking area. The boardwalk follows Mill Creek for about 0.10 mile and then turns into a dirt path near the road. This easy 0.10 mile trail receives heavy use. It takes about 7 minutes to complete the trail one way.

Facilities: A vault toilet is provided at Mill Creek Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Mill Creek Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk.

Best Time To Visit: Early spring, summer, and fall is the best time to visit Mill Creek Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk.

Fees: A fee is charged to enter Mill Creek Canyon.

Accessibility: This area is handicap accessible.

Rules: Bikes, horses, and motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Directions: To reach Mill Creek Canyon Fishing Dock and Boardwalk from Salt Lake City, take Mill Creek Canyon Road (3800 South Wasatch Blvd.) about 4.4 miles up the canyon on the right hand side of the road as you're traveling up the canyon.
