The headwaters of Mammoth Creek begin between Brian Head Peak and Cedar Breaks National Monument. The best fishing begins east of where the Red Desert Road (Forest Service Road 241) crosses the creek. Mammoth Creek flows east and enters the Sevier River approximately 2 miles south of Hatch.

Facilities: There are no developed facilities available at Mammoth Creek. Dispersed camping is available.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Mammoth Creek.

Best Time To Visit: Mammoth Creek is open year round.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Check local fishing regulations.

Directions: To reach Mammoth Creek from Cedar City, take Highway 14 southeast to Highway 143. From Highway 143 drive approximately four to five miles east of Cedar Breaks National Park and turn south on to the Red Desert Road (Forest Service Road 241). This road crosses Mammoth Creek.
