Magpie Campground rests in cottonwood and willow on the south fork of Ogden River. Campers enjoy trout fishing in the river. Wildlife includes deer, elk, moose, raptors, and occasional black bears and coyotes. Magpie Campground has a campground host.

Facilities: Magpie Campground provides restrooms and drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Magpie Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Magpie Campground is open May through October. It is busy on weekends and holidays.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 7 days.

Directions: To reach Magpie Campground from Ogden, Take Hwy 89 north to Highway 39. Follow 39 east to Huntsville. From Huntsville go east on Highway 39 for 5.5 miles to the campground.
