| Facilities: No facilities are provided at Little Water Trail. Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Little Water Trail. Best Time To Visit: Late spring, summer, and fall is the best time to visit Little Water Trail. Fees: A fee is charged to enter the Mill Creek Canyon. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Mountain bikes are restricted from the trail on odd numbered calendar days. Directions: To reach Little Water Trail from Salt Lake City, take Mill Creek Canyon Road (3800 South Wasatch Blvd.) about 9.1 miles up the canyon to the parking lot at the very top. Note that the parking lot at the top gets very crowded, especially on weekends. Please park horse trailers in the lower overflow parking area down the canyon. Illegal parking and the small upper parking lot makes it very difficult for trailers and almost impossible for larger trailers (4-6 horse trailers). |
