Lamb's Canyon Trail is a more difficult trail that connects to Elbow Fork Trail in Mill Creek Canyon. This trail works its way along a stream through heavy stands of aspen, Douglas Fir, and spruce. The lower two-thirds of the trail is a steep climb with the last one-third much steeper as it breaks over the saddle into Mill Creek Canyon. This trail runs entirely along the bottom of the drainage so that any view of the surrounding country is limited until hikers reach the ridge, then there is a vista of Mill Creek Canyon and parts of the Salt Lake Valley.
This moderately difficult 2 mile trail gains 4,158 feet in elevation and receives moderate use. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to complete the trail one way.
