Fees: No fees are charged to visit this trail. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Please be cautious of moose that live in the area. Do not approach any moose you encounter on or near trails. Moose may seem calm and tame, but they are not! Moose are wild and unpredictable. For your own safety, please avoid these animals. Please do not pick any wildflowers. Horses and motorized vehicles are prohibited. Directions: To reach Lake Solitude Trail from Salt Lake City, take Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd) to Brighton about 14.2 miles up the canyon to the Silver Lake Visitor's Center. Park at the Silver Lake Information Center or across the street at the Brighton Store.
