Iron Mine Campground is secluded for large cities. This campground is situated among pine and aspen on the banks of the Duchesne River. Mill Flat Trailhead provides hiking access adjacent to the campground.

Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water is provided at Iron Mine Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Iron Mine Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Iron Mine Campground is open May through October. The campground tends to be busy on weekends and holidays as well as throughout the summer.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Iron Mine Campground from Heber City, travel south on US Highway 40 to State Highway 208. Take 208 to State Highway 35. Travel north on 35 to Hanna. From Hanna go north on State Highway 35 for 5 miles to Forest Route 144. Go north on 144 for 8 miles to the campground.
