Hope Campground is set among maple and box elder with views of Cascade Mountains. The nearby Provo River is a blue ribbon trout fishery. Campers may buy firewood on site or gather it locally. Hope Campground has a campground host.


Facilities: Hope Campground provides restrooms and drinking water. Supplies are available in Provo.

Best Time To Visit: Hope Campground is open May through October. Expect cool days and cold nights.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. Vehicles over 30 feet are not recommended.

Directions: To reach Hope Campground from Provo, travel north on Highway 89 to Orem. From Orem go east on Highway 52 to Provo Canyon and Highway 180. Go northeast on 189 for 2 miles to Forest Route 199 (Squaw Peak turnoff). Go south on 199 for 3.5 miles to the campground.
