Granite Flat Campground is in a park-like setting among fir and aspen trees. This campground is set on a creek. There are views of Lone Peak Wilderness and Box Elder Peak. Campers may steam fish in the creek or lake fish in Tibble Fork and Silver Lake Flat. Deer, elk, moose, skunks, and porcupines are common to this area. Campers may gather firewood here. Granite Flat Campground has a campground host.


Facilities: Granite Flat Campground provides restrooms and drinking water.

Best Time To Visit: Granite Flat Campground is open May through October. Expect cool days and cold nights.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. Boats with motors are prohibited from the nearby lakes.

Directions: To reach Granite Flat Campground from Provo, go north on I-29.2 to exit 287 for State Route 92. Go east 12.5 miles to Forest Route 144. Go north 3 miles past Tibble Fork Reservoir staying on the pavement (curves left), go less than 1 mile to the campground.
