Ferguson Canyon Trail
Courtesy of EatStayPlay.com
Ferguson Canyon Trail starts on an old utility road and drops down into a gully. There is a climbing area 1/4 mile up the trail. From this point on, the trail becomes steep and intermittent. If you cross the ridge into Big Cottonwood Canyon, watershed restrictions apply (no dogs allowed) and are strictly enforced. This moderately difficult 3.5 mile trail gains 4,324 feet in elevation and receives moderate use. It takes about 4 hours to complete the trail one way.
