Fairview Museum of History and Art offers several areas within the museum. Areas include art and sculpture and historical exhibits.
The Avard T. Fairbanks area is dedicated to the artist. In the early 1960s Avard T. Fairbanks initiated a display of his finest sculpture in the Fairview Museum. These included plaster casts of some of his most impressive heroic statues.
The new Horizon Building of the Fairview Museum of History and Art was constructed specifically to house life-sized replica of the Columbian Mammoth. It is visible from outdoors through the massive east window. This majestic skeletal replica faces the mountains where the mammoth was discovered in August 1988, during construction work on Huntington Reservoir Dam. Fairview Museum of History and Art also includes a selection of Native American Art for visitor enjoyment.
