Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Please be cautious of moose that live in the area. Do not approach any moose you encounter on or near trails. Moose may seem calm and tame, but they are not! Moose are wild and unpredictable. For your own safety, please avoid these animals. Please do not pick any wildflowers. Picking wildflowers prevents them from blooming the following year. Directions: To reach Clayton Peak Trail from Salt Lake City, take Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd) to Brighton. Start from the Lake Mary Trailhead which is located behind the Mt. Majestic Lodge. The Clayton Peak Trail leaves from the Lake Mary Trail about 3/4 mile from the trailhead.
