CEU Prehistoric Museum
Kris Mazy Fullmer
CEU Prehistoric Museum has two halls, the Hall of Dinosaurs and the hall of Archeology for visitor enjoyment.
Hall of Dinosaurs: CEU Prehistoric Museum is host to three dinosaurs that are considered to have been carnivores or "meat-eaters". One of them stands in the 'pit' in the Hall of the Dinosaurs. He is 'Al' the Allosaurus - the museum mascot.
Another dinosaur called the "Utahraptor" has now been unearthed, and is sure to be one of the most spectacular fossils to have ever been retrieved.
Finally the Torvosaur, similar to the T-Rex has also been discovered. Its cast is not on exhibit in the museum yet.
In the Hall of Archeology is the Colombian Mammoth and information on the prehistoric cultures of Utah.
