Broads Fork Trail leads to an alpine cirque area with extensive rock faces and rugged terrain that is ripped by huge avalanches each winter. The trail begins from the west end of Mill B South Fork Picnic Area and climbs steeply to an overlook. The Salt Lake Twin Peaks and Dromedary Peak surround the cirque at the top of the Broads Fork Trail.
This difficult 3 mile trail gains 2,080 feet in elevation and receives infrequent use. It takes about 3 hours to complete the trail one way.


Facilities: Broads Fork Trail starts from a picnic area.

Best Time To Visit: Summer and fall is the best time to visit Broads Fork Trail.

Fees: No fees are charged to visit this trail.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Bikes, horses, and motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Directions: To reach Broads Fork Trail from Salt Lake City, take Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd) about 4.3 miles up to Mill B South Fork trailhead, just before the "S" curve. Trail begins at west end of picnic ground at trailhead sign.
