Blackhawk Campground is set in fir, aspen, oak, and maple scattered in an open meadow. Wildlife includes bears, mountain lions, deer, elk, hawks, and eagles reside in the area. There is a trailhead here that leads to Payson Lakes Campground and a large hiking and horse trail system. Horse facilities are provided. Blackhawk Campground has a campground host.
This campground has 15 campsites and 23 croup sites.

Best Time To Visit: Blackhawk Campground is open June through October.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Blackhawk Campground from Provo, follow Highway 189 south to I-15. Go south on I-15 for 12.6 miles to Payson. From Payson go southeast on Forest Route 015 for 15 miles to Forest Route 175. Go south on 175 for 2 miles to the campground.
