Bells Canyon Trail
Courtesy of EatStayPlay.com
There is a gate across the Bells Canyon Trail trailhead. Hikers have to either climb over it or climb the rocks at the side of the gate. The trail starts out as a dirt and gravel road with no shade available. The lower reservoir is about 470 yards from the trailhead. From this point on, the dirt road begins to look more like a trail. The trail does become difficult to follow in some sections.
This difficult 4 mile trail gains 3,500 feet in elevation and receives frequent use. It takes about 2 hours to complete the trail one way.
