Balsam Campground is set in fir, aspen, oak, and maple scattered in an open field. Campers may fish for brown and rainbow trout in Hobble Creek. Wildlife includes infrequent bears, mountain lions, and coyotes as well as deer, elk, hawks, and eagles. This campground offers 13 campsites and 1 group site.

Best Time To Visit: Balsam Campground is open April through November. Busy on weekends and holidays.

Directions: To reach Balsam Campground from Provo, travel south on Hwy 89 to Springville. The campground is located about 11.5 miles east of Springville on forest route 058.
