| American West Heritage Center takes visitors back to a time when everything was homemade, homegrown, and handed down from generation to generation. But it's more than a 19th century American west history lesson, it's an opportunity to step back and experience it.The American West Heritage Center sets in the shadow of the breathtaking Wellsville, Utah mountain range. It's a place dedicated to the sights, sounds and tastes of daily frontier life. Every day is filled with hands on activities and demonstrations of how Native Americans, early explorers and pioneers lived.The Welcome Center is a 7,000 square foot facility especially designed to accommodate large groups and includes spacious parking with bus parking in front of the building, large restrooms, a gift shop, and exhibit area. Visitors can watch our own heard of buffalo from the viewing deck and take in one of the most scenic views in all of Cache Valley. Refreshments are available for purchase in the gift shop or special arrangements can be made for private services like ice cream and baked goods. The Welcome Center's grand hall can be rented for receptions, parties and meetings. The classroom is perfect for small conferences, meetings or dinners. The great hall and the classroom can be combined for large events.The Livery Stable is a 2,300 square foot old-time barn perfect for unique weddings, conferences, craft shows or a good old barn dance.The Opera House can make any event more fun and interesting, and comes complete with a stage and piano. The red-roomed facility is especially great at Christmas time for parties or weddings.The Pavilion by the Pond is great for family or group gatherings and includes a fireplace. |
