Caddo Lake State Park is located in a beautiful Texas wilderness where you can really feel alive. You can traverse along the rough terrain and feel like a true mountaineer. The vegetation is thick and the lake is near the area makes this place to be just like a natural maze, a real wonder of Texas.
There are a few campgrounds that offer exceptional overnight opportunities and the option to live like a true rustic mountaineer. Come and enjoy with some of the full hook-up sites or rough it out on the ground in a tent but whatever you choose to do this is the perfect place to do it.
There is a beautiful day use picnic area that does not charge a fee and does not require reservations. It is located within the park.
There are lots of fishing opportunities nearby but be sure to have a proper and valid Texas fishing license before casting in your line.
Non-motorized boating is a great way to view wildlife and appreciate the landscape in the area. Motorized boating is permitted, so most non-motorized boats find areas away from high traffic watercraft use. Early mornings are also a good time for non-motorized craft, but be sure to have the proper license needed to operate a boat.
Swimming is also allowed and is a great way to cool off on a hot day or the perfect thing to keep the kids busy while you relax in the sun.
