Lake Crockett is located in the Caddo and LBJ National Grassland and is a premire spot to get out of the house and enjoy the great outdoors. A boat ramp is provided and motorized boats are permitted. This lake is a prime spot for fishing catfish, sunfish, crappie and bass. A floating dock is supplied. Two campgrounds are located nearby the lake as well if the fun happens to extend into another day.

Facilities: Lake Crockett provides a boat ramp, a floating dock, campgrounds that supply, drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings.

Best Time To Visit: Lake Crockett is accessible year round.

Fees: A fee is charged.

Rules: Remember to keep the lake clean, have all necessary fishing and boating licenses, and follow the fishing regulations.

Directions: To reach Lake Crockett from Sherman head east out of town on the US-82 for 38 miles where you will reach Farm to Market Road 100, make a left and follow it for 10 miles. You will reach Farm to Market Road 409, make a left and follow it for .5 miles to the lake on your left.
