| | Driftwood Beach State Recreation Site - Surfing | | This area provides access to the ocean and picnic facilities scattered throughout the shore pine. The area offers a wide, flat, sandy beach. It is also a great place for beachcombing and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Visitors enjoy a number of water activities. |

| | Ona Beach State Park - Boating | | This beach is located 8 miles south of Newport, Oregon. The park is a fine, forested ocean flat that has now been developed for extensive daytime shore use. Ona beach provides easy access for beachcombing and great for large picnic gatherings. |

| | South Beach State Park - Boating | | This park and the surrounding areas offer a variety of recreational opportunities. One of the most exciting additions to the program at South Beach: kayak tours. Folks who register for the activity will launch from nearby Ona Beach. It is located only 5 miles south of the park. Visitors will spend two hours exploring the fascinating Beaver Creek area with a guide. Other activities around the park include fishing, crabbing, boating, windsurfing and beachcombing. |

| | South Jetty (South Beach) - Wind Surfing | | South Jetty offers horse access to the beach, fishing, clamming, surfing, scuba diving and (for the advanced) windsurfing when conditions permit. |

| | W.B. Nelson State Recreation Site - Water Skiing | | The area provides a small freshwater lake and fishing dock. Bass and stocked pan-sized trout are the most common fish. The area is known for abundant waterfowl. Picnicking is popular and relaxing here. The areas overlook the Alsea River, and provide easy access to the river's shore. Sometimes the river current can be strong. Guests are advised to accompany small children in the water. Wildlife watching is abundant. Not only do the waterfowl make for excellent bird watching, but it is also not rare to find a doe and her fawn drinking from the riverside. |

| | Yachats State Recreation Area - Surfing | | The site lies within the heart of Yachats. Turn west on 2nd Street. The road makes a small loop, offering a serene view of the Yachats River as it meets the Pacific Ocean. Water activities such as surfing, wind surfing, boogie boarding, wake boarding, jet skiing, water skiing, and boating are interesting activities to be involved with here. |
