Clyde Holiday State Recreation Site
This area is full of willowy cottonwood trees provide shade and serenity. Each campsite is clothed with a variety of trees and other plants to give you that private, secluded feeling. The park borders the beautiful John Day River and is surrounded on all sides by some of Oregon's most pristine wilderness areas.

Unity Lake State Recreation Site
The lake is has the high desert surrounding the area to offer a unique experience to its guests. There is a boat ramp to accommodate the water skier as well as the angler. The water activities are not limited to fishing and water skiing. Visitors have been known to tube behind boats, jet ski, and swim. Camping in different styles are available to accommodate almost any guest. Different species of wildlife inhabit the area. This includes mule deer, elk, cougars, bobcat, black bears, eagles, hawks, and smaller animals. A hiking trail weaves in and out of the wooded areas to give visitors a view of the lake and the forest.
