| Agate Beach State Recreation Area | | This beach is also known as a surfers paradise, if visitors plan to visit prime Newport attractions like the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center, they must stop in for a refreshing picnic at Agate Beach. A tunnel leads to the ocean beach and day-use area. Facilities are provided. |

| Devil's Punch Bowl State Natural Area provides | | Surfers and surf watchers are enchanted with this area! The punch bowl was probably created by the collapse of the roof over two sea caves that were shaped by wave action. The park is a popular whale watching site and displays an intriguing geology. |

| Ellmaker State Wayside | | This land works equally well as a highway rest stop and tree preserve. Fruit trees are still found on the south side. Four picnic tables border a spacious, grassy meadow. Some facilities are provided. |

| Muriel O. Ponsler Memorial State Scenic Viewpoint. | | is great for picnicking. This viewpoint is right on the shoreline with whale watching, beachcombing and a view of the beach. There are approximately five miles of sandy beach with China Creek to the south of the park. The waterfowl and hawks nest here for part of the year. Fishing is permitted in the China Creek which flows only feet away from the viewpoint. |

| Neptune State Scenic Viewpoint | | This area provides benches set on a cliff above the beach to give visitors an excellent view of Cumming Creek, wildlife and the rock-pounding waves. From this location, guests can watch for whales, see a variety of birds, sea lions and the occasional deer in the creek. |

| Otter Crest Scenic Viewpoint | | This is a great way to soak in the view from 500 feet above the ocean on a breathtaking crescent sweep of white sandy beach stretching to the south. Cape Foul weather is stunning and inspirational with its picturesque promontory. This popular whale watching spot also provides a good view of the Devil's Punchbowl environs. |

| Road's End State Recreation Site | | This is a fine place for a romantic stroll with tide pools, islands, and the headland with its hidden cove. Sailboarders come from everywhere to sail on the shores of Lincoln City! When Lincoln City's beaches are crowded or windy, this sheltered spot just north of town is surprisingly quiet. Picnicking is a fun recreational activity as well. |
