| | Legore Lake | | Legore Lake is a bitter climb up the west canyon wall of Hurricane Creek. The trek to Legore Lake travels on one of the highest and most difficult summits in the Wallowa Mountains of northeastern Oregon. |

| | Wallowa Lake | | The lake is 5 miles long, and a mile wide, with a depth of 283 feet. As early as 1880, hotel, restaurants, and boat services even a dance hall was available at Wallowa Lake. A State Park is also located at Wallowa Lake with full hook ups and tent camping too. Joseph offers many outdoor recreational activities including fishing, hiking, backpacking, camping and much more. Joseph is close to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and the gateway to the Eagle Cap Wilderness. |
