Umatilla National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The Umatilla National Forest, located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, covers 1.4 million acres of diverse landscapes and plant communities. A wide variety of recreational opportunities are available on the Umatilla National Forest. Three classified wilderness and three national Wild and Scenic Rivers add their assets to the Forest.

Wallowa Lake - Trail Systems
The lake is 5 miles long, and a mile wide, with a depth of 283 feet. As early as 1880, hotel, restaurants, and boat services even a dance hall was available at Wallowa Lake. A State Park is also located at Wallowa Lake with full hook ups and tent camping too. Joseph offers many outdoor recreational activities including fishing, hiking, backpacking, camping and much more. Joseph is close to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and the gateway to the Eagle Cap Wilderness.

Wallowa-Whitman National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The Wallowa -Whitman National Forest contains 2.3 million acres located in the northeast corner of Oregon. The Forest crosses into Hell's Canyon National Recreation Area located in Idaho. Recreational opportunities within the Forest include fishing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, boating, and much more.

Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness - Hiking In Wilderness Areas
The Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness was created by the Endangered American Wilderness Act of 1978. The wilderness is located in the northern Blue Mountains of southeastern Washington and northeastern Oregon and encompasses 177,465 acres.
