Silver Falls State Park - Trail Systems
is in the lower elevation of Oregon's Cascade Mountains and lies a temperate rain forest. The Canyon Trail and the falls descend to a forest floor covered with ferns, mosses, and wildflowers. Visitors will also find stands of Douglas fir, hemlock, and cedar. While the park is visited by thousands every year, it's large enough for visitors to find quiet places to sit and watch for birds.

Willamette National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The Willamette National Forest offers visitors virtually endless opportunities for forest-related activities. Developed campgrounds, trails, Scenic Byways, and ski resorts are but a few of the facilities available for use. Outdoor recreation activities not associated with developed facilities are limited only by one's imagination.
