Alderwood State Wayside - Trail Systems
This area is a forested tract along Hwy 36 west of Junction City. There's a picnic area and short trail along the Long Tom River. Visitors often like to bring a lunch and relax! Fishing is permitted in the river. The footbridge was severely damaged in February, and remains inaccessible. Facilities are available as well.

This trail is 6.5 miles long, has a more difficult to easiest rating, and receives light use.

Brice Creek Trail #1403 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 5.5 miles long, has an easiest rating for hikers, a more difficult rating for mountain bikers, and receives medium use.

East Fork Trail #3308 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 5.9 miles long, has a moderate to difficult rating, and receives low to medium use.

Fall Creek National Recreation Trail #3455 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This trail is 13.7 miles long, has a moderate to difficult rating, and receives heavy use.

Knott Trail #1417 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 3.9 miles long, has a more difficult rating, and receives light use.

Larison Creek Trail #3646 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 6.3 miles long, has a medium rating, and receives moderate use.

Linton Lake Trail #3519 - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This trail is 1.5 miles long, has a rating of easy, and receives heavy use.

McKenzie River National Recreation Trail #3507 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This trail is 26.5 miles long, has a moderate rating, and receives heavy use.

Noonday Wagon Road #1405 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail is 4 miles long, has a more difficult rating, and receives medium use.

Siuslaw National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The Siuslaw National Forest is a very diverse and productive region extending from Tillamook to Coos Bay along the Oregon coast. The forest encompasses over 630,000 acres of unique and varying ecosystems. The Siuslaw National Forest is bordered on the east by the Willamette Valley and the west by the Pacific Ocean and is one of only two national forests located in the lower 48 states to claim oceanfront property, making it a great spot to go whale watching.

This trail is 1.4 miles long, has an easiest rating, and receives medium use.

Umpqua National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The Umpqua National Forest in southwestern Oregon is nestled on the westside of the Cascade Mountains. It provides access to Watson Falls, Boulder Creek Wilderness, Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness, Mt. Thielsen Wilderness, North Umpqua Wild and Scenic River, Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway, Oregon Cascades Recreation Area, and the Diamond Lake Recreation Composite. Recreational opportunities here include fishing, camping, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, hunting and more.

Developed campgrounds, trails, Scenic Byways, and ski resorts are but a few of the facilities available for use. Outdoor recreation activities not associated with developed facilities are limited only by one's imagination.
