Buckhorn Meadows Trail #205 - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
Buckhorn Meadows Trail #205 allows for relatively quick access to Wildcat Basin. There are unique geological formations of volcanic origin. The trail is 2.7 miles long and is considered to be most difficult.

Canyon Mountain Trail #218 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
Canyon Mountain Trail #218 offers excellent views of the John Day Valley. The trail is 15.5 miles and is considered more difficult.

Cedar Grove Trail #203A - Short Trails (1-3 miles)

Devine Summit Trail #318 is about 2 miles of easy hiking, biking, and skiing.

East Fork Canyon Creek Trail #211 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
East Fork Canyon Creek Trail #211 offers both low and high elevation life zones to explore. The length of the trail is 9.9 miles and is considered to be more difficult. Hiking and horseback riding is allowed, but mountain biking and ATV usage is prohibited.

Indian Creek Trail #364 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
Indian Creek Trail #364 leads through alpine meadows and wild onion fields in the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. Hiking and horseback riding is allowed.

Joaquin Miller Trail #219 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
Joaquin Miller Trail #219 is on the southwest end of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. The length of the trail is 6 miles and is considered most difficult. Hiking and horseback riding are allowed.

Magone Lake Trail #352 - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
A number of bird species and animals frequent the lake and surrounding vicinity of Magone Lake Trail #352 . The length of the trail is 1.5 miles and is considered easy. Hiking is allowed.

Magone Slide Trail #353 - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
Magone Slide Trail #353 is a relatively quiet trail in spite of its location close to the Magone Lake Recreation Area. The trail ascends slightly over 300 feet through old ponderosa pine stands which were growing when the slide occurred that created Magone Lake about 1860.

Malheur National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The 1.7 million acre Malheur National Forest is located in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon. The diverse scenery of the forest includes high desert grasslands, sage and juniper, pine, fir and other tree species, as well as alpine lakes and meadows. Recreational opportunities include fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, off highway vehicle use, horseback riding, and winter activities.

Unity Lake State Recreation Site - Trail Systems
The lake is has the high desert surrounding the area to offer a unique experience to its guests. There is a boat ramp to accommodate the water skier as well as the angler. The water activities are not limited to fishing and water skiing. Visitors have been known to tube behind boats, jet ski, and swim. Camping in different styles are available to accommodate almost any guest. Different species of wildlife inhabit the area. This includes mule deer, elk, cougars, bobcat, black bears, eagles, hawks, and smaller animals. A hiking trail weaves in and out of the wooded areas to give visitors a view of the lake and the forest.
