The reservoir has no facilities but the area which occupies about 200 yards of shoreline is available for camping. There is good fishing for redband or brook trout. |

Many visitors are able to relax at the reservoir as well. Boating is permitted, along with many other water activities. Such activities include water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, power boating, and swimming. |

| | Prineville Reservoir State Park - Lakes & Reservoirs | | Mountain waters flow out of the Ochoco Mountain Range, joining together to form the Crooked River. This river, confined by its canyon and the Bowman Dam, forms Prineville Reservoir. The fishing can be good anytime at Prineville Reservoir.
