Cabins & Yurts Anthony Lakes Guard Station Anthony Lakes Guard Station was built as a backcountry ranger station in the 1930s situated on the north shore of Anthony Lake. Antlers Guard Station Nestled in an open ponderosa pine forest, the Antlers Guard Station site is a historic, rustic cabin with two small rooms, a garage, and an outhouse. Boundary Guard Station A rustic, yet comfortable cabin, Boundary Guard Station is complete with most of the amenities of home in an alpine setting. Congo Gulch Cabin The cabin is a two-story, wood frame structure, with three bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room area. Hilltop Hideaway Hilltop Hideaway is a one-bedroom, one-bath cabin built in the 1930's. Moss Springs Guard Station Moss Springs Guard station is a quaint cabin in the woods where visitors can stay; complete with most of the comforts of home and alpine surroundings too. Peavy Cabin One room log cabin, fully contained including kitchen utensils, outhouse. No water or electricity. Two Color Guard Station Two Color Guard Station faces Eagle Creek, has a spacious yard, and a corral for several stock animals. This cabin also provides separate bedrooms, living room, kitchen and indoor plumbing. The diverse scenery of the forest includes high desert grasslands, sage and juniper, pine, fir and other tree species, as well as alpine lakes and meadows. Recreational opportunities include fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, off highway vehicle use, horseback riding, and winter activities. Umatilla National Forest The Umatilla National Forest, located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, covers 1.4 million acres of diverse landscapes and plant communities. A wide variety of recreational opportunities are available on the Umatilla National Forest. Three classified wilderness and three national Wild and Scenic Rivers add their assets to the Forest. Wallowa-Whitman National Forest The Wallowa -Whitman National Forest contains 2.3 million acres located in the northeast corner of Oregon. The Forest crosses into Hell's Canyon National Recreation Area located in Idaho. Recreational opportunities within the Forest include fishing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, boating, and much more.
