Umatilla Rim Trail #3080

Umatilla Rim Trail #3080 is located on the North Fork of the Umatilla Wilderness area, this trail is open to foot and horse traffic only. The trail climbs briskly (about 1900') in the first 1.5 miles. The remaining 6/0 miles climbs only 300' in elevation, gradually making its way through a series of mountain meadows. A panoramic view can be seen from the top of Buck Mountain. This trail is 7.5 miles long with elevations of 2400 to 4450 feet and is considered to be most difficult.
