Trout Creek Trail #3405 takes you through a 100-year-old fire generated forest. The rocky top of Rooster Rock comes into view as you ascend. One half mile from the top, the trail joins Rooster Rock Trail, and continues to the base of Rooster Rock. This trail is 2.8 miles long, has a moderate to difficult rating, and receives medium to high use.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Trout Creek Trail #3405. Gas, lodging, and food are available in Sweet Home.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Trout Creek Trail #3405.

Best Time To Visit: Trout Creek Trail #3405 is open year-round.

Fees: A northwest Forest Pass is required to use this trail.

Directions: To reach Trout Creek Trail #3405 from Corvallis, travel east on State Highway 34 to U.S. Highway 20. Go east on U.S. Highway 20 to Sweet Home. From Sweet Home, travel east on Highway 20 for 19.8 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead is on the left, across the highway from, and east of the entrance to Trout Creek Campground.
