Thousand Springs Nordic Trails are marked with blue diamonds. Some short sections of trail are designated as combined use sections with use by both snowmobile and nordic users. These sections are marked with both blue and orange diamonds posted together. When skiing on combined sections of trail, ski single file on the right side of the trail. Do not ski side-by-side across the trail, since this may cause conflict between users. When snowshoeing on Nordic trails please do not step in established nordic tracks. The prints left by snowshoes make it very difficult to glide on nordic skis. The elevation of these trails ranges from 3500' to 5000'. Be sure to check weather conditions. The trails are 7 and 7.5 miles long and are considered to be easy to most difficult.
