Taylor Burn Campground

Taylor Burn Campground requires considerable patience to get to, but it is well worth the effort for those seeking isolation and alpine beauty. There are fishing opportunities nearby. In mid-summer the large meadows, which surround Taylor Burn Guard Station, are brilliant with Indian Paint Brush as well as other wildflowers. A broad opening to the west provides an expansive ridge view. This camp serves as a trailhead to many wilderness trails. The mosquito population is high from June to mid-August, so be prepared. There are 6 general sites in the campground.
