Spool Cart Campground is situated in a pine, cottonwood, and fir forest. Warm to hot days accompany the cold nights. There is no drinking water on site. Campers can gather firewood locally. Deer, elk, wildcats, and small wildlife reside in the area. There are a total of 16 sites with a maximum spur of 22 feet.
