Southshore Campground is situated in a wooded area near Detroit Lake. There is boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing in the lake. Hiking is available on the nearby Stahlman Point Trail. Firewood is sold on site. There are 30 general sites at the campground. The maximum trailer length is 30 feet.

Facilities: Southshore Campground provides restrooms, tables, drinking water, and fire rings.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Southshore Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Southshore Campground is open April through September.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Southshore Campground from Detroit, travel east on State Highway 22 for 2.5 miles to Blowout Road #10. Proceed on Blowout Road 3.5 miles to the campground.
