Smiling River Campground

Smiling River Campground is located in mixed conifer on the Metolius River. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river but please check fishing regulations. Wildlife in this area includes black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, deer and elk. The campground is busy during the weekends and holidays. Supplies are available 1.5 miles away at Camp Sherman. Smiling River sits at an elevation of 3200 feet. There are 38 campsites and a maximum spur of 50 feet. All of the campsites in the area are primitive.
