Shady Campground is situated in a pine and fir forest on Lostine River. There is no drinking water on site. Warm to hot days accompany cold nights. Campers can gather firewood locally. Deer, elk, wildcats, and small wildlife inhabit the area. There are a total of 12 sites with a maximum spur of 18 feet.
