Seneca Fouts Memorial State Natural Area would be a great place for a convention if visitors were bighorn sheep. In other words, the terrain is rocky, mountainous, desolate and open. This is the third leg of state parks joined together at Mitchell Point. A hiking trail is provided for visitors who feel the need to get their blood pumping. The trail takes the guest up into the mountains. It is a moderate-difficult trail, because there are loose rocks on the trail and it inclines rapidly. The forest becomes extremely dense as the trail goes on. This may be a good opportunity for wildlife viewing. Eagles like the rocky terrain to build their nests in. Visitors are urged to bring a camera and binoculars.
