Sand Springs Campground

Sand Springs Campground is a great place to experience some wildlife viewing. Migrating birds, such as bald eagles make this their temporary home. Deer, elk, bears, and mountain lions have been spotted around the area as well. It sits at an elevation of 4950 feet. Campers and hikers are invited to travel the direct trail that leads to accessing the East Fort. The campground provides 3 sites and has a maximum spur of 30 feet. All of the campsites are primitive.
