Sandhill Crossing Campground is located in a park-like setting along the North Fork of Sprague Wild and Scenic River. Fishing is available on the river. Visitors may gather firewood locally. Bird watching is available at the campground. Visitors might see deer and small wildlife in the area. Gearhart Wilderness Trails are located near the campground. Hunting is allowed when in season. Mosquitoes may be a problem earlier in the season. This campground is very popular and fills very quickly in the fall. The maximum spur is 18 feet long. There are 5 single sites available at the campground.
