Sam Brown Campground is set in a pine forest setting next to Briggs Creek with views of nearby meadow. Fishing is allowed in the creek. Campers can gather supplies locally. Deer, elk and birds are common to the area. Sam Brown meadow is a good spot to view elk. Trails reside in the area. Accessible solar showers and an amphitheatre are at campground. There are a total of 36 sites with a maximum spur of 30 feet.
