Rigdon Lakes Trail #3555

Rigdon Lakes Trail #3555 rambles up and down through a Mountain Hemlock forest with some rock outcroppings. It is 1/2 mile to the first Rigdon Lake, with the second lake another 1/2 mile beyond. The trail intersects with the Wahanna trail after passing Kiwa Lake. The 1996 fires burned over much of the trail, leaving it dusty, dry and difficult to locate in a few spots. Reroutes and reconstruction are in the planning stages. This trail is 2 miles long, rated easy, and receives heavy use.
