Prospect State Scenic Viewpoint is a beautiful, quiet secluded forest area with picnic tables. There is a hiking trail leading to Pearsony Falls, the Rogue River and Mill Creek Falls. There is no drinking water at this site. Picnicking facilities are provided here. The forest offers abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. Fishing is popular among visitors in the nearby streams that line the hiking and walking trails of this viewpoint.

Rim Dr W becomes Munson Valley Dr. for 3.4 miles. Turn right for 0.3 miles. Stay straight to go onto OR-62 W. for 27.3 miles. Stay straight to go onto Mill Creek Dr. for 0.7 miles. Turn left onto Red Blanket Rd. for 0.1 miles. End at Prospect State Scenic Viewpoint.
